Festival Partners
We couldn't put Swinterfest on without the brilliant support of our festival partners:

This year the we're proud to partner with Swindon-based UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) as our headline sponsor.

They invest £8 billion of taxpayers’ money each year into research and innovation and the people who make it happen, working across a huge range of fields – from biodiversity conservation to quantum computing, and from space telescopes to innovative health care.
UKRI have a long history of supporting the arts and have supported projects like -
- Using AI to help trip-hop legends Massive Attack create digital instruments
- Developing immersive audio recording techniques at Real World Studios in Wiltshire
- Investigating how music can benefit people living with mental health issues
- Inventing a violin that can be played with only one hand

Swindon Link
Key Partner
Swindon Link is part of Positive Media Group Ltd. Established in 1978, they are Swindon’s largest free news publication, in-print and online, being a well loved community news offering that provides important community news, reviews, interviews and what’s on information for the town.

It is a firm favourite on coffee tables as a useful go-to guide throughout the month, looked at when deciding which restaurant or takeaway to use, which event to go to or what plumber to call in an emergency.
The Swindon Link website has a strong web presence too, with tens of thousands of unique visitors each month.
The magazine and online offering is brought to you by a team of local journalists who are passionate about Swindon.

Prospect Hospice
Charity Partner
During Swinterfest this year we will also be fundraising for Prospect Hospice. So if you see us with a collection bucket please give generously as it is such a worthy cause.
Since 1980, Prospect Hospice has provided the only dedicated end-of-life care service for people living across north east Wiltshire including Swindon, Marlborough and Royal Wootton Bassett.
Jeremy Lune, chief executive at Prospect Hospice, said:
“At Prospect Hospice, people and community are at the core of everything we do. We provide palliative and end-of-life care to over 2,000 people in Swindon and north-east Wiltshire every year. Despite decreasing NHS funding, we continue our vital work thanks to the unwavering support of our community.
“Though discussing death and dying can be uncomfortable, it’s not uncommon to find ourselves, perhaps after a drink with friends and family, talking about what our funeral song might be. This highlights the power of music to convey emotions and bring us together. Swindon Shuffle and Swinterfest embody this spirit – a genuine celebration of life in our wonderful community. We are incredibly grateful to be the charity of choice for this fantastic event. We couldn’t do what we do without you, so thank you.”
